Janelle Willoughby

Janelle Willoughby started in the beauty and wellness industry over 18 years ago out of sheer passion and excitement for skin care. Originally from Austin, Texas, she specialized in a natural approach to skin health as the Regional Director for Woodhouse Spas. Her studies took her to New York City where she went on to become a licensed medical aesthetician, studying at Christine Valmy, The United States’ first and original school of aesthetics. While in New York she worked with the latest lasers, chemical peels and IPL systems in medical aesthetics, and brought her expertise as a makeup artist to the runways of the 2008 Fall Fashion Week.

After moving to Louisville in 2010 she continued her passion for skincare focusing in Dermatology. Janelle understands that every client struggles with unique and individual skin concerns. She says it’s not always just about the aesthetic of the skin, but the health of it too. That is why she offers complimentary consultations where she will create a customized plan to achieve each client’s individual skin care needs.

Janelle is also a proud clinical trainer for Cynosure, the leading developer and manufacturer of a broad array of light-based aesthetic and medical treatment laser systems. She is certified in Photofacials, Laser Hair Removal, IPL Treatments, Laser Tattoo Removal, Laser Scar Revision, Laser Leg Veins, and an array of Skin Rejuvenation treatments using lasers, radio frequency, ultrasound, and micro-needling. Janelle also specializes in chemical peels, medical grade microdermabrasion treatments, advanced acne therapies and the latest in medical grade skin-care.
